Development and assessment of listener-tailored programming for cochlear implant listeners

The Emerging Auditory Research Lab at Mass Eye and Ear is
looking for babies, children, and adults with Advanced Bionics cochlear implants who would like to participate in research. We provide snacks, free parking, and a $75 payment per 3 hour visit.

How long are sessions?

Each visit will be about 2-3 hours long. Visits for young children will
be between 1-3 hours long, depending on age and attention
span.

What’s Involved

During these study visits, participants will be asked to listen to different sounds through their cochlear implant and provide age-appropriate responses. Participants will be helping us to assess new individually-tailored ways of stimulating the cochlear implant.
There are no medications involved.
